Team Leaders - Wind Turbine Installation (Top, Ground, Preparation & Cable Teams)
Location: Europe & UK
Start: ASAP
Rotation: 6/2 or 4/2
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of installation teams on site.
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
- Support and supervise installation activities within Top, Ground, Preparation, or Cable teams.
- Coordinate tasks, resources, and communication between technicians and site management.
- Monitor quality standards, productivity, and compliance with HSE procedures.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and daily planning activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Report progress, challenges, and project updates to site management.
Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in wind turbine installation projects.
- Vestas Installation C-Level certification (mandatory).
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Lead Technician, or similar supervisory role is highly preferred.
Certifications
- GWO BST and GWO BTT (preferably all 5 modules completed)
- Vestas C-Level certifications.
Skills
- Strong understanding of wind turbine installation processes.
- Mechanical and hydraulic experience; electrical knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to lead teams in a dynamic project environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Language
- English - minimum B1 level.
