Job Description

MEDLifecycle Engineering (LCE) is a department responsible to provide Engineering solutions to Service and Construction at MED level. The team is currently spread around the Mediterranean area (including some MENA Countries), East Europe and Africa (South Africa, Kenia, Egypt, Marrocco and Senegal).

Responsibilities

  • Technical support in Vestas Mediterranean region.
  • Support for cost assessment of required transport road adjustments.
  • Review wind farm designs for compliance with standards for crane pads, access roads, foundations, crossings, earthworks and temporary works
  • Willingness to travel to project sites in Italy and across the Mediterranean region.

Qualifications

  • 3 Years of proven practice professional experience in design and management of steel design construction and reinforced concrete foundation
  • Master Degree in Civil Building Engineering. Structures design specialization.
  • Member of Provincial Association Engineers (Iscrizione all'Ordine Provinciale degli Ingegneri) with sufficient training credits number (CFP) for signing projects with digital signing or by hand.

Competencies

  • Steel construction and reinforced concrete design - solid knowledge.
  • Soil mechanics: solid knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.- Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD
  • Proficient FEM structural software knowledge; 2Si Prosap.
  • Language: Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and daily work under a structured environment.
  • Capable of managing own workload for execution and reporting to management
  • Capability to work in a team environment (LCE Team) and to deal with stakeholders (Internal and external clients)
