We are seeking a highly professional and detail‑driven Accountant to support our operations connected exclusively to our Hungarian entities.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of comprehensive accounting activities while working within a refined, international environment. We are looking for someone who combines precision with confidence, independence with reliability, and who brings a strong sense of professionalism to every task.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing daily accounting entries for selected Group entities, including received and issued invoices, bank statements, fixed assets, payroll and VAT journals (with external preparation), and other general ledger entries
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts
  • Participating in monthly and annual closing activities (depreciation, revaluation, accruals, provisions, etc.)
  • Cooperating with external accountants and auditors
  • Working closely with a junior accountant, team leader, and other internal stakeholders
  • Handling additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience as an independent accountant
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Responsible, diligent, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
