Job Description

Skeleton is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Test Engineer / Manager to join our Advanced Engineering team.

Would you like to play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of our products? We are now looking for a Senior Test Engineer / Manager to take ownership of testing strategy, execution, and continuous development across multiple testing domains, including EOL, EMC, vibration, and destructive testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for products and systems
  • Drive implementation of qualification programs (DV, PV) for customer and R&D projects
  • Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities across EOL, EMC, vibration, and destructive testing
  • Ensure test coverage, reliability, and alignment with product requirements
  • Contribute to test method development and validation
  • Analyse test data and provide root cause analysis for failures
  • Design and implement testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies
  • Develop and improve testing processes, documentation, and reporting practices
  • Ensure safe operations in the testing laboratory in line with safety standards
  • Support certification processes and compliance with industry standards
  • Act as a technical lead and mentor for Test Engineers and Technicians
  • Coordinate testing activities across different testing areas and teams
  • Support resource planning and prioritization of testing work
  • Work closely with R&D, product development, quality, and production teams
  • Provide feedback from testing to support product improvements

Requirements

  • Educational background in engineering (e.g. electrical, mechanical, or automation)
  • Strong experience in product testing, validation, and failure analysis
  • Experience in one or more testing domains (e.g. EMC, vibration, EOL, destructive testing)
  • Several years of relevant experience in testing or product validation roles
  • Understanding of testing standards and certification processes
  • Ability to analyse complex technical data and drive conclusions
  • Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication skills in English and Finnish
