Job Description

We are seeking a highly technical and collaborative Senior Software Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of intelligent digital energy solutions. This role will own the software experience across IoT-connected devices, cloud platforms, mobile applications, analytics, and AI-driven technologies supporting residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale renewable energy systems.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding with strong business leadership and market insight to drive scalable, intelligent energy management solutions that integrate hardware and software into seamless customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Define and execute the software product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy for connected energy platforms.
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, competitive positioning, and regulatory developments within renewable energy and smart energy systems.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-enabled optimization, predictive analytics, energy forecasting, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Align product strategy with business growth objectives and monetization opportunities.
  • Translate industry and customer insights into actionable product requirements and innovation initiatives.

Product Development & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across software engineering, hardware/IoT engineering, cloud architecture, UX/UI, QA, customer success, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate development of integrated platforms involving:
    • IoT-connected devices and telemetry systems
    • Mobile applications (iOS & Android)
    • Cloud monitoring and analytics platforms

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Energy Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of Software Product Management and/or Product Marketing experience delivering high-value software or connected products.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, IoT systems, APIs, mobile applications, and SaaS ecosystems.
  • Experience managing products involving telemetry systems, remote monitoring, or connected devices.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems, solar technologies, battery storage, or energy management platforms.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications, analytics, and intelligent automation systems.
