Commercial Manager - Asset Management

As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Asset Management team with a Commercial Manager at ourStirling or Glasgow office.

We're seeking a commercially astute and highly collaborative Commercial Manager to support our Asset Management function. This is a key role focused on delivering strong commercial outcomes by combining financial insight with technical understanding, operational awareness, and the effective use of expertise across the team.

The Role

You'll play a central role in shaping commercial decision-making, supporting bids, managing financial performance, and leading engagement with clients and stakeholders. Working closely with technical and operational teams, you'll ensure our commercial approach is grounded in real-world delivery and maximises value across our portfolio.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and sales forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational delivery and providing regular financial reporting.
• Oversee contract commercial and viability reviews, assessing expiring contracts and recommending renewal terms to maximise value and performance.
• Support bid management activities, including scope review, pricing development, and collaboration with operational teams to ensure commercially robust and deliverable proposals and support onboarding for handover readiness to operational teams
• Own stakeholder engagement across Asset Management, ensuring commercial decisions are informed by technical and operational insight and that team expertise is effectively utilised.
• Act as the primary contact for clients on commercial, contractual, financial, and billing matters, providing clear and timely responses.
• Support business development activity by contributing commercial insight to help generate new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate financial reporting processes, including weekly summaries, month-end activities, and cost control.
• Work closely with the Head of Asset Management to support strategic and operational priorities as required.

This is a PERMANENT role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
