Job Description
The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilization through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are successfully delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Contracts Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of decarbonisation and building upgrade projects across Ireland. With a clear electrical bias, together with a solid mechanical understanding, the role will lead the management of electrical building services packages, provide direction to project delivery teams, and ensure works are executed safely, to programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial project management team, in-house M&E design function, and senior operational stakeholders to deliver a range of low-carbon and energy efficiency projects, including MV/LV distribution upgrades, Solar PV installations, LED lighting upgrades, Controls and BMS-related works, and wider building fabric improvement projects. Operating across live commercial and public sector environments, this role demands strong contractual and commercial awareness, decisive leadership, and the ability to manage client expectations, project risk, and multidisciplinary stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.
What You'll be Doing
This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of electrical projects from inception through to completion, ensuring all works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and compliance standards. The position acts as the primary day-to-day client contact, managing relationships, coordinating project activities, and overseeing planning, risk management, resource allocation, procurement, and commercial performance. Working closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and delivery teams, the role ensures effective project controls, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, change control, and performance reporting.
