Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Industry & Regulatory Intelligence
    • Track and analyze developments from IMO and other regulators on climate, safety, and sustainability (e.g., net-zero frameworks, regional policies, carbon pricing).
    • Monitor shipping industry responses, strategic adjustments, and adoption of low- and zero-carbon fuels and technologies.
    • Track the global trade policies and monitor implications.
  • Energy & Market Analysis
    • Collect and analyze data on marine-related energy markets (LNG, methanol, ammonia, hydrogen, biofuels, electro fuels etc).
    • Assess supply chains, infrastructure readiness, and cost/availability implications for shipping.
    • Collect and analyze forecasts and scenario analysis from reliable sources to understand market shifts affecting the industry.
  • Support to Strategic Projects
    • Contribute research and analysis for green shipping corridor initiatives, mapping stakeholders (shipowners, ports, fuel suppliers, cargo owners) and assessing feasibility.
    • Support engagement with external stakeholders by preparing data-driven insights, briefing materials, and presentations.
    • Assist in identifying opportunities and risks related to decarbonization, digitalization, and alternative fuels.
  • Knowledge Management & Reporting
