Your Missions

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Coordinator to lead the technical development and delivery of renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar PV, energy storage, and hybrid systems. The role combines engineering leadership, project coordination, and technical oversight to ensure optimized, high-quality solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor project engineers, ensuring technical excellence and effective project delivery;
  • Recommend and develop optimized engineering solutions considering technical requirements, costs, timelines, and project performance;
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement across engineering processes;
  • Support project development, tenders, procurement, and construction activities through technical analysis and cost-benefit evaluation;
  • Assess project feasibility, including site capacity studies, technical due diligence, and design requirements;
  • Coordinate and review the design of Power Plants, Energy Storage Systems, and Hybrid Systems, working closely with Civil and CAD teams;
  • Oversee energy yield assessments, electrical designs, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Bills of Quantities (BoQs), technical specifications, calculations, and project documentation;
  • Manage and review the work of external engineering consultants and service providers;
  • Provide technical support during site surveys, construction, commissioning, warranty periods, and the preparation of As-Built documentation;
  • Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to evaluate technical solutions and support project optimization;
  • Monitor market developments and identify opportunities to improve engineering standards, efficiency, and competitiveness.

Qualifications & Experiences

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Master Degree or Degree in Electrical/ Electrotechnical Engineering - Specialization in Energy Systems (preferred);
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical projects;
  • At least 2 years of experience in coordination positions is desirable;
  • Experience in the electrical installation area and constructions inspection.
  • Experience in solar, energy storage, or hybrid system is a plus;
  • MS Office, AutoCAD and Electrical Engineering software domain;
  • Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as PVSYST, PVcase, and CAD software;
  • English and French language domain; Portuguese/Spanish (valued).
  • Availability for national and international travels.
