Job Description
We're looking for a Administrator (Solar Repair) to help manage the end-to-end repair journey for customers with Solar PV technical issues. This role sits at the heart of repair delivery - coordinating field engineer allocation, parts logistics and manufacturer warranty claims, and making sure every repair is progressed efficiently, accurately and with clear ownership from diagnosis through to resolution.
You'll be the person who keeps complex repair cases moving, ensuring customers, engineers, suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams all have the information they need at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Engineer Allocation: Allocate field engineers to repair visits based on location, availability, skills and priority.
- Appointment & Customer Coordination: Coordinate appointment scheduling and keep customers informed throughout the repair journey.
- Parts Management: Order, track and manage replacement parts required for Solar PV repairs.
- Warranty & Supplier Liaison: Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on warranty claims, replacements and technical approvals.
- Warranty Claim Administration: Track warranty claims end to end, ensuring evidence, documentation and updates are captured.
- Case & Repair Record Management: Maintain accurate case notes, repair statuses and audit trails.
- Technical Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical support teams to understand repair requirements.
- Issue Escalation Management: Escalate delays, missing parts, rejected claims or repeat issues quickly and clearly.
- Process Improvement Support: Help improve repair processes, stock visibility, warranty tracking and customer communications.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone highly organised, proactive and confident coordinating multiple moving parts at once. You don't need to be the technical expert diagnosing the issue, but you'll need to be comfortable working in a technical environment and managing the operational detail that ensures repairs happen smoothly.

Your base of Operations: Office, warehouse, and beyond
Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), and Kent. For this role, we're looking for candidates based in the Ringwood (Hampshire) area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays.
Our working hours are 37.5 a week, Monday - Friday.
