Job Description

As an Accountant on our Fund Accounting team, you will work alongside six experienced colleagues and two Junior Accountants. You will quickly become a part of a supportive environment and a position where no 2 days are the same. You will report to our Senior Finance Manager and work closely with the entire Finance, Tax, and Risk Management team.

Role

Your main responsibility will be daily accounting activities, as well as performing quarterly closings for assigned areas of responsibility in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlines.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to

  • Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions,
  • Performing quarterly accounting activities for assigned areas,
  • Financial reconciliation of accounts,
  • Collaboration with external auditors,
  • Optimization of tasks and processes,
  • Ad hoc tasks.

You

You hold a BSc or MSc in Economics, Finance, or Accounting and bring at least three years of full-time experience from a similar role. You are comfortable managing routine accounting work while responding to shifting priorities and tight deadlines, especially during quarter- and year-end closings. You work in a structured and organized way, pick things up easily, and contribute positively to the team. You bring a collaborative mindset and are ready to support colleagues when needed. At the same time, you can adjust quickly, taking on routine tasks while remaining attentive when priorities shift. Ideally, you have experience from a financial institution, investment company, or accounting firm.
