Objective
In charge of overseeing the EPC contractor/s project implementation of the company’s solar and other renewable energy projects according to schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
1. Site Oversight & Coordination
- Act as the owner’s on-site representative
- Monitor site activities against:
- EPC schedule
- Contractual milestones
- Approved work plans
- Coordinate site access, interfaces, and logistics constraints
- Maintain site presence during critical activities
2. HSE Enforcement
- Enforce owner HSE rules and fatal risk standards
- Stop work authority for immediate safety risks
- Monitor contractor HSE compliance
- Participate in incident investigations (fact-finding only)
3. Contractual Compliance Monitoring
- Verify works align with:
- EPC contract
- Minimum Technical Requirements
- Approved method statements (for compliance, not adequacy)
- Identify deviations and notify the Delivery / Execution Manager
- Support issuance of:
- Non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Site instructions via contract mechanisms only
4. Progress & Reporting
- Verify and track weekly site progress
- Validate contractor progress reports (physical %)
- Highlight schedule risks early
- Support milestone verification for payment certificates
5. Interface & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate on-site interfaces:
- Grid operator
- Local authorities
- Landowners
- Ensure site readiness for inspections and audits
6. Commissioning & COD Support
- Support commissioning readiness checks
- Witness testing activities as required
- Verify punch list closure (tracking only)
Educational Attainment
Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Communications Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum Required Experience:
- Licensed Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electronics and Communications Engineer or certified Instrumentation and Control Engineer
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing solar PV projects, other renewable energy or electrical systems, and team leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
- Strong knowledge and experience in medium to high voltage electric systems and/or SCADA systems for utility, solar or other renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of electrical power systems and PV design, including plant layout and performance modeling, modules, inverters, racking, and DC/AC collection systems.
- Preferably Skills in solar project optimization for performance, cost, and constructability.
- Knowledgeable in construction project management and project site implementation and execution before, during and after the project.
