In this role, you'll play a critical part in bringing solar energy systems to life-helping homeowners and businesses reduce their energy bills and environmental impact.

This is a hands-on, field-based position ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in high-quality workmanship, and want to contribute to a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops or other structures in accordance with design schematics, local building codes, and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper system layout, orientation, and alignment for maximum efficiency and compliance.
  • Assess job site conditions for safety hazards and structural integrity before and during installation.
  • Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to resolve installation challenges and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including photos, site layouts, and installation details; submit all paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical work, roofing, or solar installation preferred (but not required).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using power tools, hand tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights for extended periods, including climbing ladders, working on roofs, and navigating uneven surfaces.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality craftsmanship.
  • Dependable work ethic and punctuality are a must.
