Job Description
Thousands of kilometers. Hundreds of vehicles. One mission: keeping renewable energy projects moving.
At FairWind, we support wind turbine installation, service and maintenance projects around the world. While our technicians work high above the ground, a lot happens behind the scenes to get them there. That's where our Fleet team comes in.
We're looking for a Fleet Specialist who thrives on coordination, problem-solving and making things happen. In this role, you'll help ensure that the right vehicles are available at the right time, supporting teams working on wind energy projects across multiple countries. You'll play a key role in keeping our operations moving safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Your qualifications
What are we looking for?
We don't expect you to know everything from day one. What matters most is your attitude, ownership and willingness to find solutions.
You will likely be successful in this role if you have:
- Experience in administration, logistics, fleet management or another coordination-focused role
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Good communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
- Basic technical understanding of vehicles
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Communicative English
- A Category B driving licence
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic international environment
Your Role
- Managing vehicle requests for employees and external contractors
- Coordinating vehicle rentals and supporting efficient fleet utilization
- Working closely with Project Managers, Coordinators and operational teams across the business
- Monitoring fleet-related costs and supporting invoice verification and allocation
- Coordinating vehicle maintenance, repairs and servicing in Poland and abroad
- Supporting vehicle handovers and ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Maintaining fleet records and ensuring data accuracy
- Supporting GPS tracking systems and fleet reporting
- Cooperating with external suppliers and rental providers
- Identifying opportunities to improve fleet processes and daily operations
- Helping ensure company vehicles remain safe, compliant and operationally ready
