Job Description

SOLV Energy's Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) division provides state-of-the-art OT solutions focused on maximizing energy production of utility-scale renewable generation plants.

This role is fully remote. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate issuance of RFPs and RFQs with integrators and MET vendors.
  • Coordinate contract issuance for integrators and MET vendors for all active projects.
  • Maintain datasheet repository with the latest equipment in the master BOM.
  • Review project drawings against the BOM for alignment and completeness.
  • Create, execute, and track project equipment orders and ensure it is delivered to the appropriate destination on time, including other project material needs:
  • Additional equipment to site as directed by the OTS Project Manager (ad hoc orders).
  • MET switches as applicable for all SCADA projects managed by SOLV OTS.
  • Spare parts
  • Participate in SOW/Exhibit reviews as required by the OTS Pre-Construction Project Manager.
  • Participate in BOM reviews with project teams.
  • Participate in Third Party SCADA project contract review and negotiations.
  • Provide timely updates to project personnel for order dates, material deliveries, pricing requests, etc.
  • Monitor the OTS cradle point (net cloud) account and ensure cradle points are in good working order for project deployments.
  • Monitor the OTS ATT/Verizon accounts and ensure needed service lines are established and unused services lines are terminated or transferred.
  • Monitor the OTS Starlink accounts and ensure needed service lines are established and unused services lines are terminated or transferred.
  • Participate in additional calls including Owner, Business Development, Estimating, etc., as needed.
  • Provide material and pricing updates to OTS Estimating.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements

  • College degree is preferred but not required. Related working experience can offset a college degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of utility-scale solar industry experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and exhibits.
  • Cost tracking and budget management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI.
  • Experience using project management tools including MS Project, P6, or Smartsheet.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, charismatic.
