Job Description

Do you want to join a global fund manager in energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the place for you. We are currently looking for a Product Specialist (Associate level) to join our Investor Relations & Business Development Team, based in our headquarters in Copenhagen.

Since our founding in 2012, we have grown to become one of the largest dedicated energy infrastructure fund managers globally and seek to continue our growth towards raising EUR 100 billion by 2030 and contribute to delivering affordable, reliable, and clean energy globally. With our global scale, industrial heritage, and energy knowledge, we can advance the energy transition.

CIP's Credit platform was established in 2022 following the launch of CI Green Credit Fund I. The platform has raised EUR ~2.8 billion of capital since inception, including EUR ~600 million of co-investment capital. The platform has expertise in greenfield energy debt investments and benefits from the industrial expertise of the broader CIP platform.

As an Associate in our Product Platform team, you will become a part of Investor Relations & Business Development (IRBD) in CIP. The IRBD team is responsible for all investor facing activities and business development from product and fund design, fundraising, onboarding and service of investors. The team is international, diverse, and consists of around 75 professionals from different backgrounds, including investment banking, management consulting, and law firms, based in 9 offices across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

Role

An Associate in Product Platform, you will become a Product Specialist responsible for supporting CIP's Credit platform for fundraising including marketing collateral (e.g. pitch books, PPMs, etc.), engaging with investors throughout their due diligence process in close collaboration with the client coverage team, and project managing the fundraise process from start to end.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Support fund launch and fundraising processes by coordinating workstreams across investment teams, legal, tax, finance, ESG, and other internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain key fundraising materials, including pitch books, PPMs, due diligence materials, and other marketing collateral
  • Coordinate investor due diligence processes, including responding to DDQs and RFPs, preparing meeting materials, and supporting investor meetings
  • Serve as a key point of coordination for investor requests and queries, ensuring timely and high-quality responses in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Support fundraising management and reporting activities, including pipeline tracking, fundraising analytics, and updates to senior management
  • Support the preparation of materials (e.g. investment case studies, portfolio updates, and performance analyses) to communicate the Credit platform's strategy and performance to existing and prospective investors
  • Prepare tailored materials and analysis for strategic investor meetings, Annual Investor Meetings, conferences, and other client events
  • Support the development of bespoke investment structures and solutions for strategic investors in collaboration with the Business Development team
  • Contribute to ongoing market, peer, and product analysis to support the evolution of CIP's Credit platform

You

We are looking for a motivated and intellectually curious individual with a relevant degree and 1-3 years of professional experience within investment management, investment banking, private markets, or a similar institutional financial environment.
