Job Description
As IBM Controller Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring stable, accurate, and compliant group consolidation and financial reporting processes at Vattenfall. The role combines hands‑on system administration, deep group accounting and consolidation expertise, and operational support during period‑end closing.
The position is located in Sweden, close to Group Accounting and other key finance stakeholders, and requires close collaboration with reporting units, Tax, IT, and Finance Shared Services across Europe.

Your tasks and responsibilities
In this role, you ensure that our group consolidation and reporting processes run smoothly, securely and efficiently.
- Act as administrator for IBM Controller, ensuring stable and compliant operation and enabling reliable and transparent financial reporting
- Configure and maintain consolidation structures, master data and system settings
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
- Manage user access and authorisations, ensuring security and compliance with internal controls
- Work closely with Group Accounting, Tax, IT and reporting units
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, data quality and system performance
Your profile
You enjoy working at the intersection of financial processes and IT systems. You bring both technical understanding and accounting knowledge and feel comfortable working in an international environment.
- Proven experience working with IBM Controller
- A solid background in accounting, ideally in group or corporate accounting
- Experience with group consolidation and closing processes
- Confidence working with financial systems and structured data
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with SAP FI / S/4HANA
- Experience from shared services or group finance environments
