The Role
We are looking to appoint a Tax Assistant to support our Global Mobility and Tax compliance activities. In this role, you will primarily handle administrative, coordination, and data-driven tasks relating to personal income tax and cross-border employment. You will support the Tax Manager and wider stakeholders in ensuring accurate employee tax reporting and compliance for our international workforce.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys structured administrative work, coordination, and accurate execution, and who would like to build practical experience in international employment tax and global mobility.
You will report to the Head of Global Mobility, based in the Netherlands, and work closely with our Tax Manager, HR, Finance, Payroll, and international offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and coordination of employee tax reporting and shadow payroll activities
- Assist with collection, validation, and maintenance of compensation data for cross‑border and multi‑country employment
- Support stakeholders with administrative aspects of employment and wage tax processes
- Assist employees with basic personal income tax questions related to their GWS activities
- Coordinate with payroll teams, finance, and external providers to ensure timely and accurate data exchange
- Monitor, document and report end of year tax settlement and distribution of tax certificates
- Monitor tax obligations through data collection and tracking Support preparation of documentation for tax reporting, audits, and internal reviews
- Maintain records, trackers, and supporting documentation related to personnel tax compliance
- Assist with preparation of guidance materials and internal communications on personal income tax matters
Requirements
- Attention to detail and a structured working approach
- Execution-focused mindset with the ability to handle administrative and data-driven tasks
- Confidence working with MS Office, Power BI and spreadsheets
- Some experience with tax, payroll, HR administration, or finance processes is an advantage
- Interest in personal income tax and international employment topics
