Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Spanish-speaking Customer Service Specialist! We are looking to expand our Residential Program Team in Oregon and Southwest Washington delivering customer support services on behalf of an Oregon-based non-profit client. In this role, candidates will be part of a program delivery team supporting innovative energy conservation and renewable energy programs to customers throughout the Oregon and Southwest Washington. This candidate will:
- Develop and maintain an understanding of several energy conservation and renewable energy program details (ex: Residential, Solar, Commercial and Industrial programs) to effectively educate customers and contractors on available services.
- Provide assistance to English and Spanish-speaking customers and/or contractors via emails, inbound and outbound calls addressing inquiries related to energy program participation.
- Document conversations with customers, provide recommendations on products or services, and advise on program participation details. Support follow-up communications and next steps to current program participants as necessary.
- Use and help maintain client-approved scripts, website, and program FAQs to provide information to customers.
- Manage and control participant intake data, ensuring all paperwork is received and is accurate, and contractual obligations are met.
- Address disputed rebate claim data and route appropriately if necessary.
- Prepare and review required program participation documentation while coordinating with various departments, both internal and external.
May be asked to participate and present at community events and raise awareness for programs to educate customers about energy-saving best practices, technologies, and available programs.
Please note: Candidates considered must reside in Oregon or SW Washington. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Reliable transportation is a plus.

- Maintain strong ongoing communications (English and Spanish) with customers and contractors to identify opportunities to connect customers with the best programs to fit their needs.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to company and client customer service delivery expectations.
- Contribute to continuous customer experience improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a large database of trade allies and ensure all documentation and information remains current and in good standing.
- Effectively coordinate regularly with internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Remain detail-oriented, organized, and reliable while having compassionate and patient phone and email etiquette.
