Boralex has been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operates renewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.
As part of Boralex's growth strategy in Europe, we are seeking a Manager, Partnerships & Corporate Development to support the identification, evaluation, execution and management of strategic partnerships, acquisitions and divestments across the renewable energy sector.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including development, engineering, finance, tax, legal and operations, you will play a key role in driving external growth initiatives and corporate transactions. This position offers broad exposure to transaction execution, strategic analysis and investment decision-making in a fast-growing renewable energy platform.
⚡ You will play an important role in
- Identifying, evaluating and executing acquisition, partnership and investment opportunities aligned with Boralex's growth strategy across Europe.
- Leading and coordinating transaction processes, including due diligence, financial analysis, negotiations, transaction structuring, documentation, signings and closings.
- Supporting asset rotation and capital recycling activities, including divestment processes, dataroom management, investor engagement and transaction execution.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations, monitor market developments and contribute to the continuous improvement of investment and transaction processes.
💡 To succeed in this position, you need
- A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or a related field, combined with significant experience in corporate development, M&A, investment management, infrastructure, renewable energy or investment banking.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, commercial analysis and negotiation skills, with a solid understanding of M&A transactions and investment processes.
- A strong interest in renewable energy markets and business models, with experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure or utilities sector considered a strong asset.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required; French language skills are an asset.
