Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader in Private Equity and Renewable Energy Infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the place for you. We are currently looking for a motivated Tax Manager / Vice President to join our Tax Team, based at our headquarters in Copenhagen.

The Tax team plays a key role in supporting Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' global business by providing expert tax advice across corporate, investment, ownership, and partner-related matters. The team works closely with senior stakeholders across the organization, including Partners, senior employees, investment professionals, Finance, Legal, and external tax advisors.

As part of a highly specialized and collaborative team, you will contribute to ensuring that tax considerations are effectively managed across the firm's investment activities, ownership structures, incentive programs, and personal tax matters, helping support CIP's continued growth and global operations.

Role

As our new Tax Manager / Vice President, you will act as a trusted advisor on Danish personal taxation, incentive schemes, carried interest arrangements, ownership structures, and investment-related tax matters. You will provide expert guidance to Partners, senior employees, and key stakeholders across the organization while ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation and supporting the structuring of investments and remuneration frameworks.

The role combines deep technical tax expertise with commercial insight and requires close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver pragmatic, high-quality solutions that support business objectives.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to

  • Advising on Danish personal taxation matters for Partners and senior employees.
  • Providing tax guidance on carried interest structures, co-investment arrangements, incentive schemes, and equity-based compensation programs.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of ownership and holding structures for Partners and investors.
  • Advising on the tax treatment of investments, financial products, and complex investment structures.
  • Coordinating and reviewing advice from external tax advisors to ensure consistency and quality of tax positions.
  • Acting as a key internal tax advisor to senior stakeholders across the business and supporting cross-border tax matters when relevant.

You

We are looking for a tax professional with a strong academic background and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience gained within a Big Four firm, law firm, or a similar advisory environment. You have extensive knowledge of Danish tax law and hands-on experience advising on personal taxation, incentive schemes, equity-based compensation, investment taxation, and ownership structures.

Experience from private equity, infrastructure funds, asset management, or related investment environments will be considered a strong advantage. Candidates should be able to communicate professionally in Danish, both verbally and in writing.
