Job Description

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to work at the forefront of the global energy transition? PEAK Wind is seeking a Operations Preparations Project Manager to support offshore wind farm development and construction ahead of the operational phase.

You will become part of our Operations Preparations team, where we work collaboratively to support renewable energy projects around the world. Our team consists of highly motivated professionals who bring diverse backgrounds and a strong commitment to excellence. You will report to the Head of Operations Preperations and work closely with colleagues across different areas, bringing your perspective to a collaborative and purposeful team environment.

How You Will Make an Impact

As a Operations Preparations Project Manager, you will be responsible for operations preparations on one or multiple clients' offshore wind farm(s). Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for project management of the O&M package, including planning, budgeting, and the development of processes from early-stage development towards financial close and then project commissioning in order to facilitate successful operations.
  • Functional leadership of O&M Package resources.
  • Acting as the O&M interface for all development and construction activities until project hand-over to the Operations team.
  • Developing and implementing sound strategies for O&M procurement and operator model scenarios including overseeing O&M-related service contract negotiations.
  • Managing O&M requirements to EPC procurement with support from the global back-office team.
  • Ensuring the execution of relevant analyses such as O&M concepts, identification of O&M harbours, crew logistics, synergy assessments, and cost drivers for offshore wind O&M.
  • Managing local stakeholders and driving O&M supply chain development activities.
  • Developing country-specific solutions for the specific project based on general PEAK Wind best practices.
