Role and Responsibilities

The candidate will be part of a cross functional team whose objective is to support management of client's renewable energy assets and fulfillment of contractual compliance obligations associated with those assets. You will support optimization of all portfolios and execute completion of tasks that have been assigned to you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Gain expertise in the commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of an operating portfolio of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS), and execute tasks to ensure portfolio compliance with all project agreements
  • Assist Portfolio Managers and other team members in tracking and fulfilling on-going tasks and deliverables; use Radian Digital software to drive workflow by managing tasks, tracking operations, administering contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Create and prepare performance and analytical reports for the operating projects.
  • Support ad-hoc technical and financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Asset Management team and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) personnel on the performance and operations of the projects
  • Track project performance, weather, and operational data for operating projects through event tickets and O & M work orders. Understand and make use of the data in the context of supporting the optimization of projects and portfolios. Create templates for tracking and analysis as needed.
  • Manage document administration and data rooms for project specific documents.
  • Coordinate, compile and submit FERC, EIA and other regulatory compliance obligations with support of internal team members and 3rd parties.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Asset Management team and assist in billing and revenue tracking, invoice tracking, SREC administration, settlements and other financial deliverables.
  • Effectively participate in the creation of new SOP's and manage the updating of existing SOP's.
  • Support the management of relationships with key project stakeholders, including project owner & investors, power offtakers, O&M providers, internal cross functional team members and multiple external 3rd parties.
  • Organize meeting agendas, both internal and with clients; potentially lead meetings with O & M providers or other counter parties.
  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
  • Lead small projects and activities.
  • Train and assist newer team members with standard tasks.
  • Drive Resolution of straight forward problems.

Renewable Energy Industry knowledge in the following areas:

Required Qualification & Education

  • Experience in renewable energy industry asset management or operations, plus some educational experience in renewable energy. Experience with PV, wind or BESS equipment and system design.
  • Experience in working with C & I and utility scale renewable energy projects. Familiarity with Community Solar management.
  • Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Customer service experience
  • B.E or B.Tech from a reputed college / university
  • Work-related experience in renewable energy / power generation preferred

Required Software Knowledge

  • Expertise in MS Office MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and Adobe PDF toolsets
  • Familiarity with asset management software systems & third-party monitoring platforms

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2+ years working with operating renewable energy assets: solar, wind or BESS
  • Business writing experience
  • Experience in a service provider environment
  • Experience with commercial renewable energy contracts
