Job Description

  • Analyse and evaluate technical solutions for BESS systems (battery system, PCS, EMS)
  • Support the definition and optimisation of BESS system architecture (AC/DC, EMS/SCADA)
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, Employer's Requirements and technical appendices to BSA and LTSA contracts
  • Cooperate with EPC contractors and BoP suppliers on HV/MV/LV electrical solutions, PCS integration and auxiliary systems
  • Support the Technical Project Manager in technical bid evaluations, supplier negotiations and risk identification
  • Verify compliance with grid codes and regulations (NC ER, NCRfG, TSO/DSO requirements)
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, functional testing and commissioning activities
  • Provide ongoing technical support to projects during the execution and construction phase.

Requirements

  • Technical education (electrical engineering, power engineering, automation or related)
  • 2-5 years of experience in energy or industrial projects
  • Good knowledge of BESS and PCS technology, including control and monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of standards related to BESS, covering technology, safety and cybersecurity
  • Basic understanding of the Capacity Market and Balancing Services Market in relation to BESS
  • Ability to analyse technical and contractual documentation
  • English - minimum B2
  • Experience with EMS / SCADA systems
  • Participation in EPC projects, FAT/SAT or commissioning activities
  • Knowledge of grid-forming concepts
