Working as a member of our Dubai team, you will undertake delivering Dynamic Positioning (DP) and Critical Systems engineering and assurance projects for our clients. You will manage and execute DP assurance projects, including audits and trials, while contributing to technical excellence, client satisfaction, and the continued growth of the business.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and execute surveys and studies from initiation through to completion, defining scope, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, study documentation, and project deliverables within agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Develop technical proposals, tenders, and commercial submissions for Dynamic Positioning and Critical Systems services.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Aqualis Group procedures, quality standards, approved instructions, and relevant industry regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes, methodologies, and service delivery to ensure operational excellence.
- Build and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, increase client satisfaction, and support business growth.
- Support the regional management in the development and expansion of Dynamic Positioning and Critical Systems services across the region.
- Promote commercial awareness by identifying opportunities for new business, cross-selling services, and strengthening existing client partnerships.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training, and support to colleagues and junior team members where appropriate.
What are we looking for?
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, professional training, and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience within Dynamic Positioning (DP) assurance, DP technical systems, marine automation, offshore critical systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrable knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes, with the ability to apply these effectively in operational environments.
- Proven experience working within the offshore, marine, or maritime sectors, supporting vessel operations and assurance activities.
- Experience conducting or supporting FMEA studies, DP trials, DP audits, and assurance activities.
- Sound understanding of IMCA guidelines and industry best practice relating to DP operations and assurance.
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities within complex marine and offshore operational environments.
- Excellent analytical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to assess technical risks and operational performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
