Summary of Role

The Equity and Transaction Support team hold a lead role in Shareholder relationship management, lead equity-processes for the Business as well as spearheading our financial analysis, modelling, and valuation activities.

As a Senior Manager in the Equity and Tran s action Support team, y our role will be crucial in ensuring that Mainstream has access to the necessary equity capital to support our Business. As part of this role, you will provide valuable insights into investment decisions, corporate strategy, and financial planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that financial models and valuation are accurate and support strategic goals.

This will be a challenging position, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation, in a growing market, and in a fast-paced industry. The successful candidate will sit as part of the Equity and Transaction Support team based in Dublin with travel between other Mainstream offices as required.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Support the ‘ Head of Equity and Transaction S upport ’ on any Corporate Equity Fundraising processes for the Business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of potential sources of equity to ensure ready access to and efficient deployment of funding to the business as required.
  • Business Planning and identification of capital needs across the Business, timing and quantum of same.
  • Support on the development, standardization and maintenance of complex financial models and valuations for the group.
  • Perform independent valuation for businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting and restructuring.
  • Ability to audit/sense check a financial model quickly and succinctly to ensure outputs are reasonable in order to make quick and informed commercial decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions for investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and financial planning.
  • Ensure that financial models comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Translate model results in commercial decisions to be taken - c lear financial analysis and communication of results Stay updated on financial trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant financial qualification with at least 10 years’ experience of financial modelling and valuation
  • Renewable Energy or wider energy industry experience is desirable
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Financial Statements
  • Ability to analyse qualitative & quantitative information for decision making
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
