We are now looking for a

Project Agreement Manager

to develop and lead the Sales in West & North Africa region.

The preferred location for the position is in Paris, France.

What you will be doing

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable leader to develop and lead the Sales in West & North Africa region. If you have a strong ambition to contribute to taking our business in Africa to a new level, a drive for performance and show excellence in building and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships, you could be the right person to join our new dynamic team.

The Project Agreement Manager plays a significant role for the Agreement ‘success already during project/construction phase. He is a member of sub region West Africa Agreement Management. The position reports to the Country Agreement Manager.

As Project Agreement Manager your work will focus on these responsibilities

  • Ensure that the service's scope, constraints, and requirements (as per the contract) are taken into consideration and will be fulfilled during the construction phase,
  • Participate to Project meetings and provide the required support: participation in GME / EDF meetings on project platform when necessary,
  • Participate and give inputs in studies / purchasing meetings;
  • Give accurate inputs regarding the maintenance during HAZOP / AMDEC studies
  • Support to the Project team for the Maintenance documentation;
  • Support the conformity check / confirmation of material of units supplied by the consortium members (i.e. Vinci);
  • Support to check that the equipment selected by the consortium members (i.e. Vinci, ...) are as close as possible to Wärtsilä's "standards" (with a purchase to Wartsila-referenced suppliers when possible)
  • Request and check the study / analyse about the impact on the maintenance costs on the equipment selected by the consortium members (i.e. Vinci) and give recommendations, if any;
  • Check the safety stock of the consortium members (i.e. Vinci, ...) in terms of items, quantity.... and give recommendations, if any
  • Set the list of parts and prices for the spare parts required for the maintenance of the equipment supplied by the consortium members (i.e. Vinci, ...)
  • Support the mobilisation phase of the Guaranteed Asset Performance Agreement (resources recruitment, team accommodations sourcing, documentation preparation, ...)
  • Support and follow the financial administrative process of the agreement: intragroup invoicing, external invoicing, SAP requirement / inputs, Agreements management information inputs (CMT, Estimo, CRM, ...);
  • Support any sales or services requirement during the construction phase (costing, internal sales and customer meetings, technical and commercial analyses, ...) related to this project or to any similar project
  • Give inputs and share in Service / Agreement Management stakeholders of the summary report of the status of the project scope as well as ensure that the status is according to approved plan.
  • Maintain and develop internal and external relationships and ensure that projects fulfil stakeholder expectations and service's scope, constraints, and requirements (as per the contract);
  • Understand work environment and facilitate interactions between departments
  • Track to obtain information, services or documents related to any service / agreement management; Ensure good archiving and classification of documents In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the position holder must be prepared to undertake any additional duties within their capabilities which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity, change the general character or level of responsibility of the position.
