In our international team, you’ll have the key responsibility to develop our company’s processes, create new ways of working, and maintain our business excellence across different verticals.

Responsibilities

Material compliance

  • Manage and implement Polarium material compliance policy
  • Consult with the legal department and advising leadership and management on material compliance matters.
  • Monitor and implement updates from regulatory requirements for example related to RoHS, REACH, EU Battery Regulation.
  • Develop and provide employee training on material compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems.
  • Identify, investigate, and report compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
  • Building data and metrics to inform and support Sourcing in selection and procurement decisions.
  • Maintaining records of compliance reports and filings.
  • Communicating with government agencies.
  • Preparing and filing compliance reports.

Material Declarations

  • Create and maintain Full Material Declarations for select products to enable reporting on customer unique requests and to enable LCA&PCF analysis of products.
  • System owner for material compliance data systems

Responsible Minerals Sourcing

  • Support Sustainability regarding responsible minerals sourcing program, including managing yearly minerals traceability reporting according to Responsible Minerals Initiative reporting standards.
  • Implementing end-to-end supplier due diligence processes to promote responsible minerals sourcing practices

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Compliance Specialist.
  • Proven work experience in the field of compliance
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Documenting and reporting skills are also important.
  • Attention to detail
