Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners is the right place for you. We are looking for ambitious Student Analysts/Interns to join the Investment Team for the Energy Transition Fund in Copenhagen.
The Role
You will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of CIP’s next generation renewable energy infrastructure investments with a focus on Power-to-X assets, which produce carbon-neutral hydrogen and ammonia.
Student Analysts/Interns will be working closely with a highly seasoned investment team in a dynamic environment and have opportunity to support across the entire deal lifecycle, from development of an investment thesis through development, construction, and exit. Key responsibilities include:
- Financial modelling, valuation, and structuring of investments
- Market analysis and due diligence of new investment opportunities
- Visualization and presentation of technical and financial data to stakeholders
- Working together with industrial partners and advisors
The position can be a part-time Student Analyst or a full-time Intern. Please indicate your desired role in the application. Top performing Analysts/Interns will be considered for full-time Associate positions.
The Candidate
CIP is looking for 3rd year BSc and 1st year MSc students in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Sustainability, Business Administration, and adjacent relevant fields to renewable energy investing. We look for the following in the candidate:
- Top academic performance and strong analytical skills
- Team player with excellent written and spoken English skills
- Interest in corporate finance, strategy, and M&A
- Curious and creative mindset with an ability to work independently
- Strong work-ethic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Experience in Excel and PowerPoint
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to work in a growing organization with a lot of responsibility and ability to shape your own working day
