Reporting to the Head of Development France, the Origination Manager generates opportunities for new photovoltaic projects in the Southwest of France with the support of a cartography analyst. This activity is based on internal prospecting and qualification tools and involves frequent travels in the region covered (driving license required).

The main responsibilities of the Origination Manager include:

  • Identifying and assessing (pre-feasibility) new land suitable for developing and constructing photovoltaic projects in line with the company's targets, utilizing internal mapping tools and commercial monitoring, and through on-site activities by progressively building a network of referrals and business partners.
  • Negotiating and signing land management agreements with landowners and operators necessary for future projects
  • Conveying a professional and supportive image, collaborating with local stakeholders (elected officials, regulatory services, advisors, associations, etc.) to ensure the harmonious development of our projects
  • Working in collaboration with project managers to facilitate project development under optimal conditions (handover)
  • Providing regular reports on the Southwest France market situation (competition, challenges, prospects, local stakeholders' positions, trade shows, relevant events, etc.).

Desirable Skills:

  • Technical or commercial education, minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Experience in land prospecting, preferably for renewable energy projects
  • Mastery of urban planning regulations and ability to quickly analyze land potential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, curiosity, autonomy, and responsiveness
  • Ability to argue and convince in a competitive environment, requiring commitment and tenacity.
