How will you make a difference?

As a Project Coordinator, you will support our Project Managers deliver our wind farm projects across UK and Ireland. This will involve working with Tender Management,. Logistics, Project Management and Commercial Project Management.

Whilst no two days are the same your key responsibiilties will revolve around:

  • Provide support to the Tender team as required during the sales phase, develop handover and contract documentation
  • Co-ordinate handover meetings from Sales to Projects.
  • Participate in Customer meetings and site visits when required.
  • Assist Project Managers in preparing the H&S Plan and Environmental & Quality Plan.
  • Assistance with regular reporting requirements.
  • Administration and co-ordination of subcontractors and sub-supplier contracts and purchase orders
  • Support to project managers with documentation, reporting and cost allocation
  • Work with Commercial Project Managers on financials.
  • Work with Logistic managers & Planners to define and manage logistic contractors
  • Liaise with HSE contractors in organising H&S equipment and documentation as per contractual obligations
  • Participate in internal meetings with project support team where required, deputizing in PM’s absence.
  • Run SAP BI and other cloud system reports as requested and required.
  • Reviewing key dates on the Project schedule.
  • Co-ordinate orders and deliveries with Site managers to ensure delivery at the right time and right location.
  • Co-ordination of multiple projects
  • Ensure adherence to company and PM execution process & protocols.
  • Site works preparation; welfare facilities, in conjunction with the project team.
  • Assisting the project manager on project closure
  • Co-ordinate handover meetings from Projects to Service.
  • Closing out site specific as-built documentation and snag clearance

To succeed in this position you will have:

  • Significant experience as Project Coordinator, ideally in the energy or construction industry. Bonus points if you have worked in the wind industry!
  • Experience of working with several departments, bioth nationally and internationally to deliver successful, complex projects.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and Projects, and other MS Office packages
  • Ideally experience of supporting multiple, large scale projects, all with different delivery times and own set of challenges to overcome
  • Ability to be pro-actove and demonstrate to respond to the demands of the projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
