About CIP – Building Value that Matters
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the world’s largest dedicated fund manager within greenfield renewable energy investments, having raised EUR +28bn across 12 funds and +160 institutional investors since the firm was established in 2012. Today, CIP employs ~500 people across 10+ offices globally, and practices a diversified investment focus, covering offshore and onshore wind, solar, power-to-x, advanced bioenergy, transmission, distribution and storage - globally, and across equity as well as debt strategies.
By 2030, CIP will have further accelerated its role in the global energy transition with a target to surpass EUR 100bn in funds raised. This will enable CIP to address ~1% of the world’s required GHG reduction by 2030 to be on track for Net-Zero in 2050 – and hence address the climate emergency at a scale that truly matters.
