A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Oversees talent acquisition processes and strategies while complying with local, state and federal employment laws. Designs and manages a corporate workforce planning process that meets all business line requirements through assessing and understanding business requirements to effectively forecast workforce supply and demand for future success.
- Partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop and execute enterprise-wide workforce planning strategies aligned to the organization’s strategic plan.
- Leads current and future workforce needs including ongoing forecasting for attrition and changing market conditions.
- Oversees the recruitment process and its effectiveness, reports on staffing projections and progress, and manages and develops the recruiting team through collaborating to recruit and hire candidates through a variety of innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques.
- Leads all aspects of talent acquisition from high volume craft labor to executive recruitment, while partnering closely with all management levels, including field leadership.
- Seeks ways to improve departmental effectiveness by eliminating unnecessary tasks, streamlining work, reducing waste and increasing the use of technology, etc.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or related discipline is required.
- Ten (10) or more years of HR sourcing and full cycle recruitment experience required, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience leading others required.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials preferred.
- Ability to travel out of state occasionally.
