Then keep reading – Cadeler is looking for an HSE Engineer with your skills and interests!
Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for an HSE Engineer to help develop and implement safety assurance processes/procedures as per Project HSE Plan, thus ensuring compliance with ERs.
What will you do?
As our new HSE Engineer, you will prepare HSE Deliverables within the project i.e. HSE plans, Emergency plans, etc. Furthermore, you will set up HSE management site process/es (for the foundation storage location + load out area).
Your main tasks include:
- Supporting HOW03 Foundation Project
- Reviewing of all HSE requirements, legal and contractual, and ensure timely delivery.
- Visiting sites/vessels to monitor implementation of safety procedures.
- Review of installation task plans/method statements.
- Suppliers follow up as well as supplier audits and supplier selection – HSE management requirements.
- Conduct HSEQ incident investigations and general follow up on unwanted HSE incidents.

We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to work with direction but no supervision, and who is an excellent communicator.
We think you will be a good match if you:
- Engineering degree or NEBOSH National General Certificate.
- Preferably ISO 14001 & 45001 lead auditor or ISM auditor.
- Investigation training or leader.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills in a business environment within Wind Offshore or Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in safety
- UK writing and verbal skills at a high level.
