Job Description

Lead acquisitions and divestitures of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, batteries), including deal structuring, valuation, and financial modeling.
Drive negotiations with stakeholders to secure favorable terms, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
Define project due diligence scope of work and budget, negotiate engagement letters with external advisors, and coordinate comprehensive due diligence process, collaborating with legal, technical, and financial teams to assess risks and opportunities.
Conduct preliminary evaluations of potential investment opportunities, analyzing market trends, regulatory frameworks, and financial viability.
Prepare approval proposals for internal decision boards, ensuring alignment with investment strategy and risk parameters.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners (e.g., developers, operators, advisors) to access and generate new investment opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in investment management within the renewable energy sector with a proven track record in executing transactions.
Excellent verbal and communication skills. Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Italian is strongly preferred.
University degree in Economics/Business or Engineering.
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations with various stakeholders.
Experience in coordinating due diligence processes and managing cross-functional teams, including defining project due diligence scope and budgets.
