Job Description
Energy Vault Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our field/commissioning engineering and construction teams. Our selected candidate will be responsible for assuring quality and efficient execution of our industry scale BESS, HESS, GESS, and hybrid Energy Storage solutions in Nevada and around the nation.
What you will do
- Oversee field construction activities and align project specifications with drawings while upholding construction quality.
- Collect field data, write requests for information (RFIs) and provide as-built redlines or other documentation or construction administration activities.
- Review and implement civil construction document drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Responsible for effectively and proactively communicating project needs, changes, and status to internal and external project stakeholders.
- Manage construction activities during kick-off, progress reporting, and change management.
- Provide construction teams with engineering design interpretations.
- Identify opportunities for design improvements and report back to the engineering teams.
What a qualified candidate should possess
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction management experience within power, utility, or industrial construction sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management required.
- Ability travel periodically to project site up to 50%.
- Active Nevada Qualified Contractor License required (General Engineering, Electrical or Civil).
- Experience in civil engineering design, heavy civil, industrial, and manufacturing construction.
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external project construction and engineering teams.
- Site development background.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Project or other project management software such as Procore, P6 is preferred.
- Comfort in fast-paced, rapid-growth environments.
- Experience in public companies is a plus.
