Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager EMEA (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Compliance Team in Munich.

What you will do

You implement and further develop the BayWa r.e. group-wide Compliance Management System with focus on antitrust law, anticorruption, and money-laundering prevention.
You develop, update, and ensure the effective implementation of comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
You participate actively in compliance risk assessments and document the proceedings.
You develop and deliver engaging content for both in-person and online compliance training sessions.
You conduct thorough business partner screenings and meticulously review draft contracts to ensure strict adherence to all process requirements
You conduct compliance due diligence for the relevant M&A projects.
You serve as the first point of contact for various compliance-related inquiries.

What you’ll need to succeed

The foremost quality for this position is integrity.
Degree in law, business law, economics, or comparable field of study.
A minimum of 3 years hands-on compliance experience, with a preference for candidates from law firms or internationally operating companies.
Experience working in an international environment with intercultural sensitivity.
Fluency in both English and German.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
