Job Description
We are looking for experienced Blade Repair Technicians to join our European team for season 2025!
Our Blade Technicians are working on wind turbine blade inspection, repair, and maintenance projects all around Europe. We believe that preventive blade maintenance is crucial in maximising the lifetime and performance of the wind turbines. We want to offer technologically advanced solutions to our customers in order for them to make the most of their assets. Rapid access to the turbines, advanced repair solutions, as well as experienced, qualified, and friendly staff are all crucial parts of our service package.
Requirements
If you would like to be a part of Team Bladefence, are based in EU and have:
- Full GWO BST & ART-H (Hub)
- IRATA Certification
- Medical Certificate for working at heights
- A Minimum of 1 year experience in the manufacture / maintenance of composite structures
- Previous experience carrying out blade repairs onsite or at an OEM factory
- Willing to travel and be flexible on schedules
- Working proficiency level of English
- A “can do” attitude
- Strong IT skills
- Driving licence, minimum B licence is required, C1 or C is an advantage
- Valid EU work permit & A1 certificate

- Safety Passport (SSG, CCNSG etc.)
- Electrical Certificate
- NC2 Certificate
- OEM Training Certificate
- Hailo Lift Training Certificate
- AFS 2019:3 Medical certification (Sweden)

Responsibilities
Blade Technician role will also include:
- Communicating the progress of the works internally, documenting all work carried out using computer-based reporting systems.
- Travelling and working independently on projects across Europe.
- Carrying out tasks to the company’s standards and H&S policies.
- Working in challenging environments, repairing and inspecting wind turbine blades, external working at height and internally in confined spaces.
