Job Description

Your Missions

As a Project Engineer in our EPC Team in Spain, you will act as a key technical reference for engineering design and execution of utility-scale wind and solar projects. You will manage and coordinate all technical aspects across different project phases to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage site design and technical engineering for solar and wind projects.
  • Carry out feasibility studies and energy yield assessments.
  • Optimize structural and electrical designs.
  • Prepare technical solutions based on cost, generation, and implementation feasibility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external subcontractors during all phases.
  • Review and validate detailed engineering and technical documentation.
  • Support in the negotiation and closure of acceptance certificates (PAC, IAC, FAC).
  • Conduct technical risk assessments and support HSE and Quality teams.
  • Assist with material selection and cost/risk analysis.
  • Participate in subcontractor selection and technical audits.
  • Ensure engineering standards and ITPs are aligned across projects.
  • Interface with grid operators on connection solutions.
  • Provide technical support during construction and O&M handovers.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing (REX) and process improvements.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • 3–5 years as a Project Engineer or Technical Advisor in renewable energy.
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent qualification.
  • Solid understanding of project costing, inspection, and testing.
  • Hands-on experience advising clients and supervising technical aspects of EPC projects.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and GIS (valued).
  • Proficient in MS Office and electrical design software.
  • Fluent in English.
  • French and/or Portuguese are a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Availability to travel occasionally to Portugal or other countries to liaise with central teams (COE & EPC).
