CS WIND Offshore, a private subsidiary of CS Wind Corporation

Aalborg, Denmark

1965

Over 1,600 employees in Denmark (source: cswoffshore.com). 2023 revenue has not been disclosed.

What They Do

CS WIND Offshore focuses exclusively on offshore wind substructures and manufactures the broadest portfolio in the industry, including transition pieces, monopiles, jackets, and floating foundations. The company has a proven track record of delivering over 3,200 foundations and more than 25 substations across 50+ wind farm projects worldwide (source: stateofgreen.com). Their products emphasize high-quality steel fabrication for large components, such as the industry-leading XXL monopile, which weighs 2,515 tons and has a diameter of 10 meters and a length of 123.6 meters, produced with a welding defect rate of only 0.05% (source: cswoffshore.com). CS WIND Offshore serves major offshore wind developers and turbine manufacturers, guiding customers from the initial inquiry to project handover with flexibility for changing specifications, making them a key player in global markets in Europe, Asia, and beyond (source: cswoffshore.com).

Projects & References

The company has contributed to over 50 offshore wind farm projects, delivering more than 3,100 foundations and 25 substations, although specific names of completed projects from the Bladt era are not detailed in recent sources (source: cswind.com). Recent completions include transition pieces for the Baltic Power project, where both Offshore Substations (OSS West and OSS East) were installed after transport from Aalborg to Poland in 2024 or early 2025 (source: cswoffshore.com). Current projects include the final assembly of the first transition piece for Vattenfall's Nordlicht 1 wind farm, demonstrating active European involvement (source: cswoffshore.com). Key customers include Vattenfall and partners in the Baltic Power project, with historical ties to major manufacturers like Siemens Gamesa through the parent company's network (source: cswoffshore.com).

Recent Developments

In the past two years, the most significant event was the acquisition of Bladt Industries by CS Wind Corporation in December 2023, enabling optimized production and a broader product portfolio (source: cswoffshore.com). Major recent announcements include the successful installations of OSS for Baltic Power and progress on Nordlicht 1 for Vattenfall in 2024-2025, as well as record production of XXL monopiles, highlighting the company's manufacturing capabilities (source: cswoffshore.com). No acquisitions, mergers, or funding rounds for CS WIND Offshore itself have been noted after 2023, but the parent company CS Wind marked milestones such as the completion of the CS WIND Portugal Offshore Wind Tower Facility in 2024 (source: cswind.com).

Working There

CS WIND Offshore hires in areas such as manufacturing, engineering, project management, welding, quality control, as well as health/safety/environment roles and support functions like supply chain and customer coordination, given the company's focus on steel fabrication for offshore components and over 1,600 employees in Denmark (source: cswoffshore.com). Primary hiring occurs at the headquarters in Aalborg and the production facilities at the Port of Aalborg, with active recruitment calls on the website (source: cswoffshore.com). Cultural indicators include a focus on close team collaboration, flexibility in projects, and uncompromising QHSE standards for personnel safety and environmental protection (source: cswoffshore.com). Specific benefits are not detailed in public sources, but the company's focus on personnel safety and continuous expertise development suggests competitive packages typical for the Danish manufacturing industry within renewable energy (source: cswoffshore.com).

Job Description

Make a difference with us and become part of the foundation for the green energy transition offshore

Join us and become part of CS Wind, the world’s largest tower producer, with 9 production sites and more than 5,000 employees globally. At CS WIND Offshore we support CS Wind’s vision of becoming the world’s leading company for renewable energy - and from our production sites in Denmark, we manufacture foundations for offshore wind farms worldwide.

The ambitions for offshore wind are great, and we must grow so that we can deliver our part of the puzzle and make this a reality. It requires a team effort. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague who, like us, is passionate about making a difference.

Specifically, we are looking for individuals who are motivated by a role focused on maintaining an overview of project contracts and ensuring the best possible project execution by managing contractual risks and opportunities.

You will join the Legal, Compliance & ESG team as a maternity leave cover (12 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role).

What do we offer?

You will get an exciting and versatile job in a growing international company with a flat structure. We offer flexibility, a high degree of freedom under responsibility and you will have ample opportunity for personal and professional development as part of a professional team with an informal tone.

An attractive salary and employment conditions are negotiated individually, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer canteen schemes, pension schemes, an active staff association, gym access, health insurance and various other staff benefits. Workplace will preferably be our location in Aalborg, with the opportunity to occasionally work from home.

We build a green future together with someone who can

  • Handle the negotiation of multiple supplier contracts simultaneously while keeping on top of customer requirements and commercial considerations. The contracts are based on international construction standards (e.g. FIDIC-based contracts) and involve both domestic and international suppliers
  • Identify and manage contractual risks and opportunities
  • Participate in correspondence, negotiations, and meetings with customers and subcontractors
  • Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical employees to foster understanding of the technical and commercial challenges that may arise during the project

As part of the team, we imagine that you

  • Have a relevant legal background, either Cand.jur., LL.M. or Cand.merc.jur.
  • Can balance a pragmatic and a detail-oriented approach when negotiating and managing various interests. This is essential to maintain full back-to-back alignment with customer requirements throughout the supplier engagement phases of our projects
  • May have experience with international construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC), which would be an advantage when working with our agreements
  • Are business-oriented and know how to combine commercial considerations with legal terms
  • Are flexible and motivated by both independent work and working with others
  • Have a project management mindset and a strong sense of initiative
  • Can work under tight deadlines and are fluent in English, both spoken and written

Value-based collaboration

We want a workplace that focuses on the whole person, and we collaborate across CS WIND Offshore based on a set of values that guide our behavior; Growth mindset, Speed, Globality and Communication & Cooperation. Safety always comes first and is expressed through the term "We Care".

We believe that this, together with our mission to provide renewable energy for the world, helps make CS WIND Offshore a great place to work.

Application

We process applications on an ongoing basis and will end the recruitment process once we find the right candidate for the position. We look forward to hearing from you.
