The reason for this role

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for assisting the Senior/Contract Manager with ensuring that all contractual obligations are met. Day to day this will involve the administration and day to day management of documentation required to ensure compliance with the contractual and commercial activities related to the of the construction of renewable energy projects in Australia.

What you will be doing?

  • Support the Senior/Contract Manager to ensure contracts are actively managed and administered in accordance with agreed contract management plans as instructed by the Senior/Contracts Manager.
  • Support the relevant Project Manager to administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle from NTP through to Practical Completion.
  • Ensure that GW meets all its contract deadlines for contract management deliverables.
  • Ensure that GW actively maintains up to date documents on all its contract deliverables across both upstream and downstream subcontracts
  • Ensure all Goldwind and customer and/or subcontractor contractual obligations are met and any variances reported to the Senior/Contracts Manager.
  • Act as a point of contact for client’s and subcontractors on contract/commercial matters as required.
  • Compile and provide regular up to date information to key internal stakeholders on the status of contract management deliverables.

What does your background look like?

  • At least 2 years proven experience in the Wind, Power or Construction Industry.
  • Administration experience of all aspects of construction contracts.
  • Experience Interpretating project plans/schedules/programming.
  • Experience working as part of a large team spread across multiple locations.
  • Excellent organisational skills – the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • A self-starter able to work independently as well as collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Good working knowledge of Project Office systems including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline would be highly regarded as would Business Management and Commercial qualifications.
