Job Description

We are looking for a motivated environmental analyst to be based in either Milan and/or Verona, Italy. Do you think innovatively, are a team player and have a passionate for sustainability. Does that sound like you? Then apply now. We look forward to getting to know you.

Your contribution to the energy transition

In support of the Origination Department, the selected candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental analyses of land and sites for the development of utility-scale photovoltaic projects. You can look forward to the following tasks:

  • Conduct checks to identify environmental, landscape, cultural heritage constraints, and buffer zones, and manage project activities related to constraint verification and technical feasibility studies.
  • Support the verification processes related to connection requests for obtaining STMG and manage the production and updating of internal project documentation.
  • Manage specific activities on portals within assigned projects for interactions with public authorities and local entities (e.g., ENEL, TERNA, Municipalities, Regions).
  • Handle relationships with external technical service providers (engineering, environmental analysis, etc.) for specific project activities.
  • Identify opportunities for new plant development through research and identification of suitable areas across the national territory.
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with various performance standards and applicable specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and potential construction areas.

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years experience in similar role.
  • Knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market and current legislation.
  • Good understanding of utility regulatory environment and renewable energy business.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize.
  • Self-directed with ability to work well / seamlessly with a larger team, including outside sales, design / electrical, interconnecting utility.
  • Knowledge of specific software such as GIS, QGIS, CAD.
  • Experience of the office suite programs in general.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
