Job Description

GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.

What you can expect

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Poznań. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, optimization, and implementation of cutting-edge photovoltaic (PV) systems – ensuring top performance, cost efficiency, and full compliance with industry standards.

Tasks

  • Review and verify structural calculations provided by manufacturers
  • Communicate with structure manufacturers and suppliers involved in the project
  • Optimize table design and field placement based on soil studies, load data, and terrain profiles
  • Develop general layouts and detailed designs for PV plants
  • Supervise and support installation activities on-site
  • Evaluate and qualify new structure suppliers

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Electrical Engineering
  • 1–5 years of experience in structural design, ideally in the PV sector
  • Strong understanding of structural calculations and design principles
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, and ideally familiar with PVcase, Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB, Inventor, or SCIA
  • Fluent in English, with good communication skills; Polish is a plus
  • Flexible and collaborative mindset, with a hands-on attitude
  • Willingness to travel within Poland as needed
  • Possession of “Uprawnienia budowlane w specjalności konstrukcyjno-budowlanej” is a strong advantage
