Job Description
GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.
What you can expect
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic PV Engineer to join our team in Poznań. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, optimization, and execution of photovoltaic systems by delivering structural calculations, foundation drawings, layouts, and detailed execution documentation, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Tasks
- Design of concrete foundations, internal site roads, and supporting structures based on soil studies, loads, and terrain profiles
- Optimization of table structures and layout in the field
- Coordination with structure manufacturers and review of technical documentation
- Reading, reviewing, and evaluating soil studies provided by third parties
- Assessing project risks (e.g., flood-prone areas, slopes)
- Supporting the Engineering team with overall PV plant layout and design
- Supervising installation works on site
- Evaluation and qualification of new structural and system providers
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- At least two years of experience in structural or foundation design
- Experience with structural calculations and execution documentation
- Excellent written and spoken English; Polish is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with tools such as Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB, SCIA, Inventor, or Civil 3D is a plus
- Flexible, hands-on, and team-oriented
- Willingness to travel across Poland
