How to Contribute to Our Vision
Strategic Planning team is part of OP’s Operations Management. It consolidates and orchestrates all strategic planning activities for overall supply chain development within OP in collaboration with the relevant experts in the modules and various other functions in the organization. The overall responsibility lies in creating the most competitive capacities for the long-term demand communicated by the Business Units. Our team has established agile working methodologies to drive continuous improvements.
As a (Senior) Strategy Manager you will be part of the strategic planning team, supporting the global and regional manufacturing/supply chain functions. In this role, you will be developing market demand into a long-term manufacturing/supply chain strategy globally and have a manifold interface in the organization. The role is associated with high values and high strategic importance, so you need strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate across all organizational levels. You will manage/cooperate in cross functional projects relative to the improvement of our business by identifying opportunities for footprint scenarios, coordinating their evaluation and preparing for business decision.
Responsibilities
- pro-actively develop holistic strategic options for WPs manufacturing footprint and supply chain development in line with business strategies, guidelines and principles
- (Senior: act as trusted partner and advisor for module heads)
- balance global demand and capacities in the long-term horizon considering localization requirements
- determine scenario options to close identified gaps to the as-is supply chain concept
- create localization concepts considering WP footprint, supplier localization and/or other partnerships
- lead scenario evaluations and/or strategic projects across related workstream functions and steer them up to business decision for top management
- (Senior: support ad-hoc request from top management)
- further enhance our strategic processes and needed risk assessments
Qualifications
As a person you are assertive, resilient, proactive and result-oriented and you have a structured and hands-on approach to complex tasks. Further we are looking for a person who has:
- the ability to lead by example creating a winning spirit and “can-do-attitude”
- out of the box mindset
- strong skills in project management 5+ years and ability to positively interact with different stakeholders
- (Senior: 10+) 5+ years of proven track record in strategic/planning, manufacturing, procurement or footprint functions
- strong communication and presentation skills to manage manifold stakeholders in complex environments
- skills to work across all levels of the business
- strong analytical skills and process focus
- English proficiency: written and spoken
