Candidate with a deep focus on funding organizations and understanding the evolving tech-policy ecosystem, managing press relations and social media handling. The role is hands-on, and will manage proactive and reactive communications, from strategy to messaging to execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Organization in implementing development plans, manage print and electronic media and social media handling
  • Keep track of all funding opportunities from the government, private and bilateral and multilateral agencies

Junior Researcher - 1 Post

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and quantification of policies related to development and climate change including impact assessment of aforesaid policies
  • Socio-economic analysis of resource consumption pattern in India including distributional impact of policies as well as their impact on socio-economic indicators like inequality, poverty, unemployment, etc.
  • Development of alternative energy-economy-environment pathways while balancing development aspirations with climate change obligations

Junior Accountant - 1 Post

India Water Foundation is interested in hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a head for numbers, experience with MS Excel, and strong analytical skills. The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Director and our Accounting Supervisor, and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment. Junior Accountant Qualifications And Skills:

  • B.Com or M.Com
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel & Word) is a must and experience in using Tally 9 is highly preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to deal with clients and external contacts.
  • Proactive and well organized.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • 2+ years' related experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with general ledgers
  • Basic knowledge of Zoho Books or similar accounting software

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Using Tally Software for Accounting and Bookkeeping Tasks.

  • Reconciliation in Matching and Resolving Discrepancies in Bank Statements.
  • Coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA) to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Generate financial reports as needed
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
