Lead, CFD Simulation

Join our Front-End Innovation Department at KK as a Lead specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics. You will have the opportunity to work on radical innovations that are groundbreaking for both our company and the industry as a whole. In this role, you will be a key player in our concept development team, shaping the early phases of product development.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams globally, you will utilize ANSYS® software to drive innovation, optimize designs, and validate concepts. Your work will directly impact project success and contribute to the company's growth. Working independently and coaching other professionals, you will apply established standards within CFD simulation while adapting precedents to develop creative solutions.

In this role, you will lead the development of new solutions for complex projects, programs, and activities. Collaborating closely with our front-end innovation team, you will provide in-depth CFD expertise, analyze simulation results, and deliver actionable insights to optimize product designs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, senior specialists, engineers, and designers to define project goals and requirements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute CFD insights and ideas for new product designs.
• Translate conceptual ideas into potential CFD simulation setups and scenarios.
• Conduct preliminary CFD simulations to assess feasibility and viability of proposed product concepts.
• Analyze simulation results to identify design challenges, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Join in executing comprehensive CFD simulations to validate proof of concept designs.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to iterate and refine concepts based on simulation insights.
• Develop comprehensive simulation reports detailing methodologies, results, and recommendations.
• Continuously refine and optimize CFD simulation processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate CFD insights into the product development process.

Our requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Fluid Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in conducting CFD simulations with successful projects.
• Understanding of fluid dynamics, electro-mechanical, heat transfer, and numerical methods related to CFD.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex challenges into effective simulation strategies.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience with specialized CFD areas such as multiphase flows, combustion, turbulence modeling is a plus.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Open mindset, seeking new knowledge through global networking.
