Your Role
- Pioneer the market: Be the first ACCURE team member in Australia and play a foundational role in establishing our presence, paving the way for a potential subsidiary.
- Drive sales excellence: Expand our footprint in existing (especially Battery Energy Storage Systems – BESS) and emerging markets by relentlessly pursuing inbound and outbound leads to accelerate business growth.
- Shape our future: Lay the groundwork for future commercial team development by proving the business case and fostering a pipeline of opportunities that justify regional growth.
- Execute innovative sales strategies: Conceptualize, design, and execute comprehensive, results-driven sales strategies. Build and cultivate sales pipelines, uncover untapped sales channels, and grow ACCURE’s market share by collaborating with the executive team.
- Generate actionable insights: Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, deeply understand customer needs, and analyze competitive dynamics in the Australian market.
- Collaborate globally: Work closely with the global team and report directly to the Director of Sales, based in London.
- Make an impact: Your work directly contributes to reshaping how batteries are used, ensuring they remain a sustainable and reliable component of the clean energy future.
Your Skills
Sales Leadership Experience: You bring at least 8+ years of proven success in sales, ideally within SaaS, data analytics, or battery systems. A background in high-growth or start-up environments is highly desirable.
Proven Track Record: You thrive on closing deals and consistently exceed targets. You’d describe yourself as a “hunter,” laser-focused on chasing new opportunities and delivering results.
Domain Expertise: An existing network in BESS, automotive OEMs, or related industries is a major advantage to hit the ground running.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You’re a self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments, with an innate ability to spot and seize opportunities.
Team-Oriented Personality: You’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude. As the first hire in Australia, you’ll need to work independently but stay connected to the global team.
Communication Skills: You are a confident communicator and negotiator in business English. Knowledge of local languages is a bonus but not required.
Location: You're based somewhere in Australia
