Ameresco are going through an exciting period of planned growth and are looking to recruit for their UK operation in Yorkshire. Ameresco Leeds is a leading utility consultancy with an enviable track record and reputation for innovation and exceptional Client service. Ameresco UK have a unique combination of energy industry, trading and financial expertise (developed at Yorkshire Electricity, Scottish Power, Npower, BP and Ernst & Young) that ensures we bring a multi-disciplined approach to the optimal procurement, planning and ongoing management of energy costs, usage and associated carbon emissions. Ameresco Leeds have placed over 2,000 energy contracts worth in excess of £1 billion with 35+ suppliers on behalf of nearly 200 clients. We focus on a small number of high-value industrial and commercial clients with a considerable energy spend.

Client Services

The Client Services team are each allocated a number of clients and provide services across our client's electricity/gas/water portfolios that can be summarised as follows:

1. Bill Validation
2. Historical Bill Validation
3. Tenant Billing
4. Portfolio Management
5. Query Handling
6. Consumption analysis

Role Scope - Client Services Specialist

The Client Services Specialist will be expected to perform all the tasks of the Client Services Co-Ordinator and in addition be able to work on more complex clients' portfolios on a solo basis. Their role will include:

• Bill validation of invoices with more variable elements, such as those relating to flexible contracts
• Handling and recording of more complex queries such as metering disputes
• Maintaining client records using Systems link
• Consumption analysis such as capacity reviews
• Communication with clients through emails and meetings and where necessary supported by more senior members of the team

Role Duties - Client Services Specialist

• Ability to effectively perform analysis on a range of data within excel and other systems (such as Systems Link) used within the business
• Support the team in building and maintaining a good working relationship with Ameresco's key utility supplier base
• Support the team in creating/maintaining bill validation reports for Ameresco clients
• Support other ad-hoc energy solutions based workstreams where required
• Team player with the intellectual rigour, attention to detail and personality to command respect internally and externally

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and have a flexible approach to work. They will be customer focused, passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy. They should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work under pressure and complete within deadlines.

They must demonstrate that they are able to communicate with clients in a supportive and professional manner.
