Job Description

The LCT Proactive team are responsible for the delivery of proactive schemes across the SPD license area. The primary focus of these works is modernisation of LV assets through mains reinforcement, service unlooping's & cutout upgrades.

The Project Coordinators role is to provide a gold standard customer service for both internal and external customers.

To measure the levels of outputs delivered by our service partners, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

To consistently and fairly challenge attitudes, outlooks and practices that do not support the company's commitment to Customer Service and escalates where appropriate.

To deliver LV Services and all related activities, through excellent communication, preparation and organisation of each incoming request and it's corresponding delivery with internal and / or external delivery units.

What you'll be doing

  • Understand SP Energy Networks ED2 commitments.
  • Build and maintain strong robust relationships with key stakeholders to drive Health & Safety, Quality and Performance.
  • Assign work to Service Partners and ensure there is a clear understanding for all parties on the scope of works and expectations.
  • Agree and document key milestones throughout the duration of the projects which include customer engagement, site surveys, reviewing network drawings before issuing.
  • Support our Service Partners through agreed processes and attend when required customer facing meetings and group customer engagement meetings.
  • Working closely with our Designers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure our Service Partners provide accurate and full comprehensive surveys and bill of quantities (BoQ's) to avoid inefficiencies and delays in the process and to reduce the risk of over-spend.
  • Ensure PO's are raised and approved accurately and timeously and PayApps are reviewed against BoQ's and processed within agreed SLA's
  • Provide weekly reports.
  • Provide a plan for future works for each of your assigned Service Partners to ensure there is steady flow of work ready months in advance.
  • Provide monthly spend forecast and support and manage the service partners to deliver.
  • Track volumes of works completed by our Service Partners.
  • Ensure projects are closed off (TECO'd) in a timely manner.

What you'll bring

  • Expert stakeholder and customer service engagement.
  • A good understanding of standards required of construction and maintenance works, including working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • A good working knowledge of SAP
  • Contract & SLA management and general commercial & regulatory awareness with the ability to balance customer service, operational delivery and efficient financial performance.
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively to all levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities using practical engineering and financial judgement to determine optimal solutions.
  • Awareness and understanding of key business drivers and the external commercial context in which SPEN is operating within.
  • Awareness of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices, associated with the management of people and the execution of work plans.

Minimum Requirements

  • SVQ/NVQ qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driving licence
  • Excellent Customer Service skills demonstrated in previous role
  • Computer literacy - e.g. Microsoft Office suite
